Dr. Swadesh Kumar Ahirwar
Dr Swadesh Kumar Ahirwar, Director and Professor in R.P.S. College of Pharmacy, Barabanki. He has been credited with his Master’s Degree (M. Pharma) in Pharmaceutics from Bundelkhand University, Jhansi, 2010 and PhD in Pharmaceutical Science from Sunrise University, Alwar, 2017. He has a total of 14+ years of experience in teaching and has published many research papers (including two international papers).
About H.O.D
Mr. Deep Kumar
Mr Deep Kumar, H.O.D. and Professor in R.P.S. College of Pharmacy, Barabanki. He has been credited with his Master’s Degree (M. Pharma) in Pharmacology from Goel Institute of Pharmacy and Sciences, Lucknow, 2019 and PhD in Pharmaceutical Science. He completed his research at the Central Institute of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants (CSIR). He has total 5+ years of experience in teaching.

B.Pharm
Bachelor of Pharmacy [B.Pharm.] is a four-year degree course. It aims at teaching the art and science of preparing and dispensing drugs and medicines. The course curriculum is designed with deliberations from top professionals and academic bodies with an aim to nurture and industry-ready employable workforce.
D.Pharm
Diploma in Pharmacy [D.Pharm.] is a two-year diploma course. It aims at teaching students about the process of inventory, purchase, marketing, and distribution with proper documentation for retail and wholesale of pharmaceuticals.
M.Pharm
Master in Pharmacy (M Pharm) is a two-year postgraduate course based on the knowledge gained in B.Pharm. It aims to teach students advanced pharmaceutical sciences, drugs, pharmaceutical engineering, medical chemistry, and more.

Library
The Library along with the departmental libraries of R.P.S. College of Pharmacy assists teaching, learning, research and innovative activities of the . The Library is fully air-conditioned as well as equipped with Wi-Fi and CCTV. Library adopts open shelf system which facilitates students to visit, browse, read and explore any document available on the shelves. Books are classified and arranged according to Dewey Decimal Classification (DDC) scheme.
The Library provides access to 48619 Books/eBooks, 101 print journals, 528 e-Journals etc.

Digitization of the Library: A dedicated section equipped with 40 computers with Wi-Fi/ LAN has been established to cater the e-resource needs of the students and faculties. The library has also created an e-repository comprising of syllabuses, question papers, eBooks etc.
Kiosks: Library Touch Screen Kiosks having user friendly interface integrated with KOHA software also allow users to browse library catalogue and check their account status.
An interactive kiosk is a computer terminal featuring specialized hardware and software that provides access to information and applications for communication, commerce, entertainment, or education.
Circulation Services: This is the key feature of library services. The library circulation service is fully automated with the bar-code technology through ‘KOHA’ library management software. Reservation Service: The library also has facility for reservation of books against demand raised by the students and faculty members.
